8 True Remedies

There’s a link between lifestyle and disease that is researched and well-known.  It is no surprise that so many individuals are suffering from poor health since most lifestyles include stress, intemperance,

improper diets, and insufficient exercise and rest. An individual who has a lifestyle that is lacking these elements that sustain good health is a person that has an increased risk of developing diseases and other ailments.

While there are many lifestyle choices out there to choose from, consider this: God has a plan for your life that involves your physical well-being. And there is no better lifestyle choice to make than the one that God has designed just for His own creation.

As a matter of fact, God has promised in His word: “If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and wilt give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee…” Exodus: 15:6. What a special promise that’s ours to claim!

“Pure air, sunlight, abstemiousness, rest, exercise, proper diet, the use of water, trust in divine power, – these are the true remedies.” Ministry of Healing, p. 127
