(adapted from Jennifer Cornbleet’s Raw Food Made Easy)
1 cup soaked raw cashews (or 3/4 cup slivered almonds)
3/4 cup water
3 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon onion powder
1/4 plus 1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried dill weed

Place nuts, water, lemon juice, garlic & onion powders, and salt in blender and process until creamy smooth. Add basil and dill, pulse briefly just to mix. Let flavors blend at least 30 minutes in refrigerator.
