Nutrition

"When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee: And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite. Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat." Proverbs 23:1-3

Next to water and oxygen, proper nutrients are the most vital need of the cells to keep the body in a healthy condition or to reverse degenerative diseases. To provide optimal nutrition, the body needs optimum fuel. The optimum diet is that which God (the Creator of man) gave to mankind in the beginning, which can be found in Gen.1:29 and Gen.3:18. It consists of fruit, vegetables, grains, and nuts.

However, in order to obtain proper nutrition, it’s not only important to consider what you eat, but also when you eat, how you eat, and how the food is prepared.

Practical and Helpful Suggestions

1. Set regular times for meals and try to remain consistent. Take your time and eat slowly (enjoy the food), making certain to chew your few thoroughly.

2. Eat raw fruits or a raw vegetable salad before the main course. This will help produce enzymes and aid in the digestion process. NOTE: Avoid eating fruits and vegetables at the same meal

3. DO NOT OVEREAT.

4. Allow 5-6 hours between meals to promote proper digestion
